Test methods for fatigue life of the rear axle of torsion beam for passenger vehicles are introduced

The fatigue life test of the rear axle of the torsion girder for passenger vehicles according to the national regulations includes torsion load fatigue life test, lateral load fatigue life test, longitudinal load fatigue life test, spring plate fatigue life test, shock absorber support fatigue life test.
1. Torsion load fatigue life test
1.1 the specimen and its accompanying specimen shall be installed on the test bench according to the installation status of the rear axle of the torsion beam in the actual vehicle.
1.2 the actuator is arranged parallel to the direction of the Z axis, and the center line of the actuator's force force passes through the center point of the wheel.
1.3. According to the torsional load S, the frequency is not less than 1.0hz for the equal amplitude sinusoidal loading, with the loading number of 300,000 times.
2. Lateral load fatigue life test
2.1 the specimen and its accompanying specimen shall be installed on the test bench according to the installation status of the rear axle of the torsion beam in the actual vehicle.
2.2 the actuator is arranged parallel to the Y-axis direction. The center line of actuator's force force passes through the tire connection point, and the distance from the point to the center of the wheel is the rolling radius of the tire.
2.3 according to the lateral load F, the frequency is not less than 1.0hz for the equal amplitude sinusoidal loading, and the loading times are 200,000.
3. Longitudinal load fatigue life test
3.1 install the specimen and its accompanying specimen on the test bench according to the installation status of the rear axle of the torsion beam in the actual vehicle.
The actuator is arranged parallel to the direction of X-axis, and the center line of actuator force force passes through the center of wheel.
3.3 according to the longitudinal load Fx, the frequency is not less than 1.0hz for the equal amplitude sinusoidal loading, with the loading number of 300,000 times.
4. Fatigue life test of spring disc
4.1 install the specimen and its accompanying specimen on the test bench according to the installation status of the rear axle of the torsion beam in the actual vehicle.
4.2 the actuator is arranged along the direction of the spring axis, and the center line of the actuator's force force passes through the center of the spring disc.
4.3 according to the load F of the spring disc, the frequency is no less than 1.0hz for the equal amplitude sinusoidal loading, and the loading times are 300,000.
5. Fatigue life test of shock absorber support
5.1 according to the installation status of the rear axle of the torsion beam in the real vehicle, the specimen and its accompanying specimen are installed on the test bench.
5.2 the actuator is arranged along the axis of the shock absorber, and the center line of the actuator's force force passes the hinge point of the shock absorber bracket.
5.3 according to the load FA of the shock absorber bracket, the frequency shall be no less than 1.0hz for the equal amplitude sinusoidal loading, with the loading number of 300,000.
